Mr. SURFACER 1000 contains fine granules that will fill fine sanding scratches and can be painted over as-is, or can be sanded. They can be sanded with waterproof sand-paper, and a perfectly corrected surface is possible. Available in bottle and spray. Provides a dark color background for dark paint, perfect for armor or "black basing" and prepares surface for paint application. Lacquer based.
This is a brown version of the Surfacer. This gives you a very thin and fine base for paint, fills ultra fine sanding scratches, and also allows you to see any defects in the model surface. This surfacer can be applied to give a final finish to the surface and gives a semi-gloss appearance. It has the characteristic of being fine grained and it is not prone to clogging up detail in the model while still being able to flow, level, and fill micro scratches giving a surface equivalent to sanding with 1000 sandpaper.
