Mr. FINISHING SURFACER 1500 contains finer granules than Mr. SURFACER 1000. They are both used in much the same way but due to the finer granules after sanding with waterproof sand-paper, a perfectly corrected surface is possible. Available in bottle and spray. Provides a medium color background and prepares surface for paint application. 40ml. Lacquer based, can be thinned with any lacquer thinner, but Leveling thinner or Medium drying thinner is highly recommended.
This is a gray version of the Finishing Surfacer. This gray base gives you a very thin and fine base for paint, fills ultra fine sanding scratches, and also allows you to see any defects in the model surface. This surfacer can be applied to give a final finish to the surface and gives a semi-gloss appearance. It has the characteristic of being fine grained and it is not prone to clogging up detail in the model while still being able to flow, level, and fill micro scratches giving a surface equivalent to sanding with 1500 sandpaper.
