This is a pink version of the Finishing Surfacer. This pink base gives you a very thin and fine base for paint, fills ultra fine sanding scratches, and also allows you to see any defects in the model surface. Pink primer is used to give reds a very vibrant color that "pops", for yellows, oranges, browns, gives a warmer & brighter tone, and of course, works great for Pinks and purples. By using the correct primer for your color, you reduce the amount of paint coats that go on. This surfacer can be applied to give a final finish to the surface and gives a semi-gloss appearance. It has the characteristic of being fine grained and it is not prone to clogging up detail in the model while still being able to flow, level, and fill micro scratches giving a surface equivalent to sanding with 1500 sandpaper. Standard dilution for airbrush use is 50/50 with a spraying pressure of 15-25 psi max. Mr Color Leveling, Standard, and Rapid lacquer thinners are recommended.
