1/72 Dragon Cyber Hobby FB.5 Vampire 5085DRA 5085
Dragon 5085 - 1/72 DH VAMPIRE FB.5
The Vampire was the second jet fighter that the Royal Air Force (RAF) ever operated. It entered service in 1946, not long after WWII ended, and remained operational till its retirement in 1966. A whole series of different variants were produced, and Cyber-Hobby has previously released some of these in its 1/72 scale range of kits. Among them is the Vampire FB.5 single-seat fighter-bomber. Also available in the Cyber-Hobby range was the Sea Vampire F.20, a navalised version of the aforementioned FB.5.
It’s a while since these brilliant Cyber-Hobby kits have been available, so this is an opportune time for modelers to get hold of them again. The plastic kits are extremely well engineered, and numerous parts are produced with the aid of slide molds. Panel lines are sharply and accurately delineated, while their streamlined fuselage and twin-boom tail are realistically recreated. Modelers will not want to wait for the chance to sink their teeth into these Vampires!
